Default 73 windshield part number

Hello all,
my windshield has been out and gone for a long time. i dont remember exactly what it should look like. I am now trying to purchase a pgw windshield, but a vendor is trying to sell me a dw876 which looks nothing like it should. My research tells me it should be a dw812. Does someone have a pic showing their glass especially the lower half or just tell me what the right one is. Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
this is the 876

Hi Dan,
You may want to try going to the 'Auto City Classics' site.
In their Corvette Windshield section they show the configurations for the various years. The shape at the bottom changed in 1973 when the wiper door disappeared, and the long hood came along.
The 812 looks to be correct for your 73.
Regards,
Alan

Especially since the other one does not have the blackout paint along the bottom.

thanks for all your help. As it turns out so far the guy that deals with pgw glass says that the original windshield is not available any more. The 876 piece is the replacement. Not happening.
Pilkington still makes an accurate windshield the dw812. Its funny the company is in NJ and I am in Philly but am unable to purchase from them. Auto city glass has it in MN but I have to pay $125 shipping. Welcome to the world of corvettes
