If they are ARP bolts, go with their spec. Bolt torque settings attempt to get the fastener into the 'elastic' zone. ARP would know best what torque their product should get.
ARP 200-2802 flywheel bolt kit, follow the instructions, Locktite #242 on threads, ARP Ultra lube under head, 85FT/LBS of torque. If you don't follow the ARP instructions, you risk fastener failure. We have found the ARP Ultra Lube to be very consistant and repeatable in measuring connecting rod bolt stretch, it is much better than the previous products.
Make sure your bolts are 200 SERIES bolts there is also a 100 series flywheel bolt, torquing specs are different I'll bet. Why take some ill informed "expert" suggestion from this forum when ARP has an easy instruction lookup on their Web site?
100-2801 kit, 75 ft/lbs.
