Body repair

Can the body of a Corvette that has been damaged by hail be repaired?
The damage goes all the way through the gelcoat and the fiber is showing.

There is no gelcoat on factory panels. You should be able to lay up a regular fiberglass patch for the hail dings.

You may want to post over in the body/paint section. I saw one of the pros there mention hail damaged cars and he said he likes to gel coat them (no gel coat from the factory, but it can be added if needed).
