Default Lifting Rt. Side of Engine

Hi All, Need advise please. Lifted the left side of my L82 to replace the
plug wires on 5 & 7. Moved over to the right side, took out the long
thru bolt from the engine mount but it will not lift up with a jack on
the bottom of the oil pan. I took the other bolts I could see on the
mount except for the one near the fuel pump. Can't get a wrench
around it. Any ideas?

Block the wheels and make sure the trans is in neutral. That should take the load off.

Just remove the right-front wheel. That should give you the access you need for the front plugs. I don't remember having that much difficulty getting at the others.

The spark plugs aren't the issue. I want to route the ignition
wires for clyinders 2 & 4 behind the motor mount like the
factory did. The right side lifted with no problem to route
1 & 3 ignition wires. I don't know why I want to run them like
the factory set up.

Slide the rubber boot off the end of the plug wire. Feed the wire through the motor mount. Spray some silicone in the boot and slide it back on the plug wire. That way you don't have to mess with mounts.

The factory does it this way so the wires don't interfere with the suspension.

100%. This is how I do it. No need to lift an engine.
