Photo seems to go the the chime so if you have your headlights on...it will make sound and let you know.
The other connector looks like it is for the under hood light.

Thanks for the help identifying the connectors. You guys are super for taking the time to help out those of us less knowledgable.... I will look and see what the headlight chime generator looks like to see if I can locate it under the dash ( PO bubba probably ripped it out because it bothered him). I had to replace the hood and guess I never checked on the hood light.

I agree with DUB if the 80 is the same as a79, I have a 79 and this is the chime unit that plugs into the the fuse panel on the right side, the green & orange wire plug into the unit on the two pin side, hope this makes sense.
Chime & seat belt unit, green and orange wire plug on two pin side
Fuse Block, chime unit plugs in where it says buzzer on RT., also shows where conductor from chime unit plugs into fuse block
