Default Question on door window installation

I gutted my doors for paint and now I'm putting them back together. Now I'm not sure if I should put the outer door felts in first or should I put the window in first or doesn't it matter? Would hate to get one in and not be able to get the other in. It's a 76 with power windows.
Thanks

Hi SS,
I'd put the ss trim and window felts in first.
It's a bit easier to get them in place without the glass interfering.
Regards,
Alan

Some say it is a lot easier to install the glass with the outer felt removed but I had little problem and it sure looks like a pain to install them with the glass in place.

It absolutely is a pain to install the felt trim after the window is in. Just redid the regulator in my passenger door and found out about that one the hard way.
