Newbie here, i picked up a 1974 convertible 4 speed really rough shape. It has the orgional motor but the intake has been swapped. Its a cast (not aluminum) high rise with a bow tie and the number 14096012. Any info on this? Also has a holly double pumper carb. Thanks and have a good day. Dale

That intake is an over the counter GM Performance peice commonly used in limited class oval track racing. Everyone calls it a "Marine" intake but really it's a cast iron version of the old LT1/Z-28 intake that GM built for this type of class racing.
There are a few different casting numbers that are the same basic intake with different carb and flange bolt patterns.
