73 vette. I have 275/60/15s on 15x9" rims. 4-1/2" back space. I had to shorten the rear spring 1" move the e- brake cable bracket and install a 1/2" thck hub concentric wheel concentric spacer. The 9" wide rim is a nice fit as far as reducing side wall bulge. Note: cement blocks were very temporary, car is on proper jacks.
Body work stage. Added 1-1/2" to fender flair

Reason: Pocs
I have 15x9 Weld Draglites on the rear, and MT 295 55 15 tires, the fronts are 15x8 with P235 60 15s. I would love to have gone with 15x10 wheels on the back but did not see that possible without major frame rework, or having the tire stick way outside the fender.
Since the bushings and alignment were good I notched them while on the car. The reinforcement extends a couple of inches beyond the opening. I welded it as far as I could thought the opening plus plug welds on the back side. And of course the parking brake cable has to be moved.
thats gotta be the first car I've ever seen with drag radials on the front.
4 wheel drive??
I noticed that too. It's not the first time I've seen somebody do it though. Last summer I saw a beautiful '58 Chevy truck at a car show that had those on all 4 corners- and it wasn't 4 wheel drive.
