Throw the Hanes manual in the trash. Buy a GM Service Manual, they have them on eBay from time to time. Just because the ECM is new doesn't mean it's good. CKT is a circuit and the GM manual clearly explains how to troubleshoot your issue or at least one of them. What I gave you is the correct way to result in a fix or at least point you in the right direction. Your MAP sensor is not the issue and your wasting your time troubleshooting the sensor. Jus sayin'.

Also, I wouldn't put a carb on it. Once you get it sorted out, balance the TBs it's like an Energizer bunny, it keeps going and going... A very reliable system when it's set up properly. We have proved that over and over to our customers over the years.

When it was running good i was impressed it also has a chip to want to put headers also once eveything running good does anyone know anyone good in hawaii who fixes cfi
Lets start again. Is your timing good? All vac lines good .No vac leakes?do you have the factory chip?Have you checked the Iac?Is the coil giving a good spark? When I have a problem like this ,I start again and assume nothing.Double check everything.
I will recheck everything tomorrow but timing last check was at 8 degrees no vac leaks has hypertech chip iac was dirty but just cleaned them have plenty of spark also are u able to disconnect iac when running
you can do a visual test looking down the top of the tb and see if its moving and you can touch the iac to see if you feel anything moving its a small motor. The tru test is take the iac off and measure the resistance from the black wire and the red wire then measure between green and yellow.you should get a resistance around 50- 60 ohms.if you get a open circuit you have found your problem.
you need a reading on the iac.if you get a open circuit then it is bad.take them out and clean the tips and where they make contact in the tb.This could be why you are getting a bad reading on your map sensor .if the iac is not working or sealing good then you have a vac leak.
