Replacing the facotry wire grommets and correct rubber carpet plugs if they are missing....and making sure you do not have nay cracks in the firewall / transmission tunnel area.

Not knowing what year you are referring to and if the car is an A/C car or not it is hard to tell you to look at the fresh ares side vents in the hinge post areas.

Default Weatherstrip on hood

There is a weatherstrip that goes under the hood that follows the back edge and tries to seal to keep heat from the engine from going right into the vent system that runs right in front of the windshield; also the transmission collar insulation helps keep heat from going into the transmission tunnel and dissipating into the cabin. Other actions can be taken that are much more involved but those two are quick and can help.

Take an Infra red gun point @ heater box I lowered passenger floor. By 28 degrees by installing a 1/2" ball valve in heater hose line

I would purchase the CORRECT rubber grommet and install it and then take some of the black 3M strip caulk and pack the hole to seal any air from getting inside the cabin. That way it will look facotry and the black strip caulk will not be easily detected if you apply it well....OR...if the original plug where the speedometer cable came though the firewall is missing and you can measure the hole..you can buy a black plastic plug and pop it int the hole also. These can often times be found at the big box hardware stores where they have the bins with many odd things that you may need around the house.

ANY of the facotry firewall plugs that have had wire or have wire going throguh them and into the cabin..I take the black strip caulk and apply some where the wires go through the grommet so I can seal it off. Every little but helps.
