Light switch **** pulled completely out

Can't remember if that means switch is no good or it's still OK and I just need to be carefull on how far/hard I pull?

Switch might be operable, but the rod detent is gone. Can you get the headlights on without the detent?

Havent tried yet.

Was on the way to work this morning when it happened. Stuck it back in and lights went out and doors went down so I know at least that still works right.

Hi S,
There's a small 'spring loaded' button on the bottom of the switch that's pushed to release the ****/rod.
Perhaps this has failed, but you MIGHT be able to get it to work again if you can get access to it.

So seems to work fine and normal. Guess I will leave it alone.

Aint broke dont fix.....
