Brakes
Somewhat like changing the length of a torque arm, only in reverse.
I was told that VW did some testing that showed by changing to a larger rim size with out changing anything about the brakes, actually reduced stopping power, which would translate to increased stopping distance, everything else being equal. I don't know if this is factual or not, hopefully someone can confirm or refute this theory?
That being said, I wish there was a better selection of 15" tire sizes
