Hello Bill,
Latest pictures are the part I handed off due to the mock ups needed
to dial in settings. All machining is now done and now it is time to polish and have it all assembled by the master. We have learned quite a bit with
this project and hopefully we can apply it to future builds.
Look forward to seeing pictures of your build soon.
Dave
Thank you Bill, I am looking forward to seeing your pictures.
It has been fun for me working on the new parts and coordinating
with Mike. The last 2 caps in this thread are yours due to a minor tweak
to address the irregular machining in the earlier housings. The bores in
your caps are straight and round within .0002 of an inch. Those ridetech arms are nice looking pieces and should serve you well. I am hoping my
differential is done today and will be on it's way.

David, been busy at work and just haven’t been able to get the chassis out of the trailer to finish it up and get pics. Really enjoyed my visit to Mikes to pick up my stuff and watch him set up the differential. He really knows his stuff and loves doing it. Looking forward to your build and what the two of you come up with. Still planning on giving you a call David. Keep up the good work!
Looks like Mike used those special issue ARP ring gear bolts as he did on mine lol! Our little secret. Man that 12 bolt looks beefy compared to my mini 10. Very nice!

The 12 bolt carrier in this unit is the heaviest ever put in a corvette housing. Between my prep work and Mike's experimenting we found room
to keep the unit thicker. I also talked Mike into a little testing with synthetic gear oil and he had some interesting results.
