If the body is off the frame at this point what folks usually do is put 3 shims on each body mount and then lower the body in place.
You can then add or subtract shims at each location until you get the fit and gaps that satisfy you.
If the body is in place and you're only looking at a couple of locations I'd measure the gap with a feeler gauge (which is what was done at St.Louis) and slip the number of shims required in place.
