Bouncing feeling

I upgraded my 72 LT1 with full coil overs, for starting point I have the shocks adjusted at the halfway point, I went for a 20 miles test drive. The ride feels like I am bouncing on a ball; should I soften the ride or make it harder? Thank you.

HARDER. I'm surprised that ANY setting on shocks appropriate for that suspension would "bounce like a ball".

I got the kits from Vansteel, the shocks are QA1. I did not see the spring weight identified on the kit specs.

The shocks (or one of them) could be defective. Do you get the 'bouncing' when turning in both directions?

It's mostly when I am going straight, I'm going to adjust the shocks to a higher setting and test drive to see if it helps.

I'm not sure about how to adjust the single adjustable qa1s. I have dual adjustable on front and rear

But I had to turn up the rebound. To control the bouncey ride when I first installed mine
