71 rear end
So I've done some searching but can't seem to find an answer to my question which is, what gearing is in my diff. Assuming the internals haven't been changed out and solely based on the stamps on the casing. Hope someone here can shine some light. Thanks fellas.
Dave.
The rear differential assembly information, date, plant, and original ratio were stamped on the underside of the case on the rear flange.
The letters indicate the ratio.

Alan

Is your car quite a late car? Near the end of 71 production?
The differential dates would seem to indicate that.
