What dis?
This is my alarm horn, what is that small **** for on the back?
Ok, I have surmised that it is an adjustment ****, but what does it adjust? Tone, loudness? Thanks. I could not get the old one off the car due to rust so several years ago while a friend swapped out my mufflers, I had him tack this rebuilt one on and the other day after a drive, I noticed it hanging by it's wire. So I am going to try again to get the old rusted screw out and put this back in the correct way.

It is used to aid in setting the tone to some degree.
It is very touchy and once you get it to work...it does not take a lot of movement in that screw to change the horn sound.

As per shop manual screw adjusts the current draw. On the C2 cars, manual shows 7-11 amp draw at 12 volts for the pair of horns on the car. Ron B.
