Damn, Alan- you're a "take no prisoners" kind of guy aren't you?
Well... The SV might be a tad big for your combo but....it gives you something to grow into.
I haven't messed with any SB stuff in decades, and my buddies that do run SBs are usually more race type stuff...
I'm sure the Team G would be good with some port matching and plenum work, and squeeze an open spacer under the carb if you have the room..
My friend uses a fully ported Super Victor on a pump gas 420" that makes 640hp....and even that one took two 1" spacers stacked on it to make the most power.
I think for anything 500hp or less, the RPM Air gap is the way to go but....sounds like you are in the single plane range now.

Cliff notes.... Super Victor II rules all on 550hp, 400" SBs.
Thanks Alan. I'll hit that link now.
****For anybody who's been tracking this thread- I just got a call from my builder. Great guy! Anyway, please check the up dated change in my top post.****
Thanks for the info but Jeremy wouldn't sell me a Titon of any kind for my engine. I'm disappointed but it is what it is. Their new line could be out as soon as January or as late as March. If things drag on long enough on my build I'll check back with him for an update.
But he will sale you the top part... and I have the new bottem:-)
Hmmmmm.....but does the new bottom absolutely, positively fix the sealing issues?
I don't know,,,, I have Zero leaks on mine... BUT, I do use a thin layer of silicone on everything, yes even the O-ring seals... So maybe thats why I do not have the problem... All I can tell you is mine does not leak...

OK, thanks for the info. I'm still thinking this through, and considering all options.
I went with a Performer rpm intake and a Holley street hp 750 on my 510hp 396 stroker, haven't started it yet but I think I'm gonna get a nice curve with the dual plane.
It was dynoed with that intake an a 750 dp holley
355, throttle response is very good......
Right now it getting T5WC transmission and 22lbs flywheel.
Wow, that's pretty impressive on a 355.

That sounds like a very healthy combo. If you don't mind me asking, what cam and heads are you running?
Stingraymaniac, you did a very nice job on your thread and also on your Vette. You must be soooo anxious to button it all up and hit the road! It's going to fly, so be careful until you get used to all that power. I'd like to hear your impressions once you've gotten it out. Better yet would be a video of it running. Best of luck and thanks for the info.
I've got a Victor Jr sitting in my garage attic you are welcome to. I used it on my 383 with a solid roller, can't remember the specs but it was pretty healthy. Ran great. If you are interested I'll dig it out.

Gordon, I really appreciate your offer and I'm definitely interested. The timeline on my engine is pretty "relaxed" because of the wait for parts to be made and arrive at my builder's place. Then the machining and balancing of the rotating assembly will take a few weeks to get done, to be followed by final assembly. You've been through this a few times I'm sure, so you know the drill.
I mention this because I'm sure we'll be well into December before it's even close to done. I'm holding out hope that AFR will have their new intakes available early next year, because that would be my first choice. The reality is that they'll probably be ready way too late to do me any good.
So, I won't forget your offer and I'll definitely check with you for details in a few weeks if the AFR stuff isn't ready. Thanks!

I'll hold onto it and if and when you need it let me know and I'll send it on its way.
I'm bringing this thread back from the dead with an update. After the typical set backs and delays for parts, we have life. The initial start up was awesome- it breathed fire on the second hit of the key and timing was only a few degrees off. The builder of this engine is Jim Barth, located near Salt Lake City. He's very well known for his stroker builds in the C4 section. His support and updates throughout the build were nothing short of amazing. The man is meticulous and very thoughtful about keeping the customer informed. He also happens to be a great guy, and we became friends in the process.
Here are a couple short videos. You may notice that it sounds a bit loud, and that would be due to mods to the headers that won't allow them to join to the rest of the system. I think my neighbors have forgiven me. A whole new 3" mandrel system is the next step. Oh, and I went with a Team G intake, in case anybody is curious.
