Nice valve covers! Who makes them and were did you get them? They look like they should fit over roller rockers and under the power brake booster on my 73 BB.

Hi, there either Ansen or So-Cals, I'll check tomorrow, I got them in Carlisle a few years ago. I have Crane roller's and no problem with the booster. Mine a 73 also. tm
Your wiring job looks good and glad to read it is completed.

YEP on all counts...organized chaos and a 'brother from another mother'.
I know that people can do as they wish.....and I know you did not ask for any opinion on this....BUT..I can say...that I have nor never will use a rubber hose from the fuel pump to the carb.
The fuel line from the pump to the carb needs to be a steel line...OR proper braided hose and AN fittings....in my opinion.

There Ansen not So-Cals, I couldn't get a good picture showing the booster clearance but there's plenty of room. I'm sure you won't have any problems.

I just noticed, the vacuum advance hose comes off the top of the primary metering block?
Is that ported vacuum? Vs manifold vacuum, which is what I use on my LT-1.
I have used the idle solenoid power source to run the electric choke on a Holley Street Avenger with no issues on several occasions, so it should work on your carb as well.
Hey Dan, I'm thinking of putting a Street Avenger on my LT-1 also.
I was thinking of going with the 670 instead of the 770. I know the original is a 780, but I don't race or even go much above 4-4500 rpm.
Think that would work, or does it have to have a 770?
Greg, just a quick thought, ask them if there the same spec's as their vintage stuff. I don't know how old mine were when I bought them, they were pretty use up, it took a lot of love to make them decent. tm

I'm sure Dan will have a more informative answer, however for what it's worth a friend of mine put a S.A. 670 on his 69 Z-28 a couple of years ago and has had no problems, one of the reasons I decided on the 770.tm

They are still the same specs and have clearance for roller rockers.
They just came out with a new design and offer a tall version.
The breather holes are baffled and include a pair of breathers.
They will engrave the tops of the covers for engine size or most anything you want.
I worked with Rebecca. she was very knowledgeable about their products regarding clearances and fitment.

My Street Avenger actually is a 670 and it ran fine with it. I’m back running the original 780 and I can’t tell any difference.

Greg, when you get your new rocker covers could you post a picture, as you can see mine are starting to look a little tired. I might get a new set myself. Thank you in advance. tm

Just an update...finally...but I put a new Street Avenger 670 w/electric choke on my LT-1 and it runs like a top! Used the idle solenoid wire for the choke. No more hesitation on start from a stop and it seems to not smell as bad in the garage.
