How about a 4 valve per cylinder DOHC V-8?
Oh yeah, Chevy already made that, 36 years ago, in the C4, it was called an LT-5!
405 net HP at 6000rpm, and 485 TQ. That is 500 Gross HP!
And a few 450HP prototypes were built by GM for the C5 car.
And a 1000HP twin turbo version was also built later by the aftermarket.
I was fortunate to take one for a "hard" drive.
Smooth as silk, powerful, and revs like no tommorrow!
Now what if that engine now had 36 more years worth of development on it?

Thank you. No, there’s an oil catch can mounted back there from both valve covers. The “Y” on the right. (Pic shows me I have some cleaning to do)
