Rescue I know you are creative
Sounds like a perfect piece to have proto-typed in a 3-D printer, and then have an aluminum one made from the CAD file.
Done!
Or... saw the water section off of an existing manifold.

My manifold has 1/2 inch NPt fittings at the front and rear. I am looking into Blower remote thermostats as well as making my block into parallel cooling and using the rear 1/2 inch NPT fittings as well, then tying them all into the remote housing as well as incorporating the bypass as well
Ive got that intake....making it work with Weber DCo 50 carbs eventually
post 1540 I mention it and it makes sporadic appearances through out the rest of the thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...grades-53.html

For a while i liked the down drafts more, then for some reason i just fell in love with the crossram look. And since i cant find a crossram manifold that was reasonable, and then the gooseneck showed up, I jumped on it.
As for goiing back to EFI, electronics have soooo many ways to be an issue I am done with them for a while. Maybe someday I can go back but I love the mechanics of a carb
@wvleon Very nice, clean and should be with plenty of power and gearing!
Question…that trans tunnel shielding. Aftermarket? How is it held in there? Adhesive?
The trans tunnel kit is held in place by some adhesive as well as tabs on tunnel itself that help clip it in place. Super simple to install prior to engine and trans install.
so far I feel no heat in cabin. Interior is fully insulated and headers are ceramic coated.
last thing I need in Phoenix is more heat in the cabin
I believe I bought the insulation from Summit
It’s been a little while since this thread has seen any updates, so I thought I would give it a push to see what else there is out there we haven’t seen.
This is my current setup, although I expect it to change frequently.
SBE 1976 L48 with 1979 L82 valve covers, Lunati 601012 cam, Flotek aluminum heads, Edelbrock 2601 intake, and an aftermarket open element air filter. Doug’s stainless steel side pipes/headers with custom braided spark plug wires.
Other than the engine I have a spreader bar, deleted the evaporator box, and coated the firewall with bedliner.
