Nice valve covers, Mako. If I had to do it over I wouldnt have polished everythign on the engine and got a more conventinal drive system.

Yes it is. 785hp@7400RPM and 614tq@6200RPM. Thats N/A. Not bad for a regular old 23* headed SBC.

Of course it makes way more on nitrous.

I would like to turn it into a strickly N/A engine some day. I believe without the compromises required to make it survive on such a large amount of nitrous, I could make 800+hp.

My personal favorite so far! (Simply because I hope mine looks like that by the end of this summer! lol!)

Ezobens, I'm most excited to see the updated picture with your cold air intake, over-the-radiator solution. Have you looked at any of the C5 off-the-shelf, over-the-radiator CAI solutions? I'm thinking one of them can be modified a bit and might work...

72 vette's tired original 350
383 Stroker by Doug Herbert that failed with 2,000 miles on it. Total junk.
Custom built Dart SHP 400 that replaced the Junk Herbert's pile.

CAI is coming along but the packaging will be tight.
I am able to fit an 8" x 16" C5 filter element but just barely.
Hoping to have it completed before June.

My build began with an LQ4 6.0 iron block. I topped it with LS3 heads and LS3 intake.
Then.....
GM recalled all those beautiful ZL1 and CTS-V superchargers, and gave dealerships instructions to destroy said blowers with large hammers. I doubt many were. Anyway, when the hit Fleabay, I jumped on a 6000 miles blower off a ZL1. The rest was the joy of shoehorning this between my fenders...

TPI is hands down, THE most beautiful rendition of a factory fuel injection setup to date. By the looks of it, you already realize the importance of "cold air", so you won't get my speech. Great job!
