I wonder if someone out there has had a look at the insides of the dash wiper/washer switch? I took mine apart to see if I could get it to work properly (only had high speed), but in the process, a part fell out of it and I don't know for sure where-eth it goes. Thanks.
Logic would tell me that the dome would go down and be visible. And I would guess that it is spring loaded also.
And the contact surface of the portion of the switch that this 'dome' would contact show show signs of decades of being in a specific position. Because if the domed part were inverted...then the hollow tube end should have a worn spot on it or left a wear spot on the part.
I'd need to see the mating part; but that 'bullet' appears to be a spring-loaded electrical contact. Or, it could be a positioning detent. Either way, the point should be outward with spring behind it.
Did you find the spring that shot out with the 'shell'?

I could not find a spring. I will see if I have a pen around here that has the right diameter spring and use part of it. Thanks
Found a spring put the spring in put the switch back together the switch would not move without getting stuck eventually broke the casing of the switch and now I get to buy a new Switch the end. but that's okay.
