Have a '72 with ZZ502 and TH400. It's a new build.

How do I wire a TCS delete?
What should remain connected?
What should be jumped?

Do I just run the kick down at the go pedal to the trans?

TCS (Transmission Controlled Spark)?
Nothing to wire if you're deleting it-
Just run a vacuum hose from manifold vacuum to the vacuum modulator on the trans and you're done. You can unplug and remove the TCS at that point with no issues.

Kick-down I would wire just as the factory did- Which I believe was a switch mounted to the gas pedal bracket?

TCS has nothing to do with the transmission vacuum modulator.
It controls vacuum advance and prevents it from occurring in any gear other than 3rd in a TH400.
Run the vacuum line from the distributor vacuum advance to a a source of manifold vacuum.

My bad, I had modulator on the brain instead of vacuum advance.
It’s probably been 40 years since I’ve seen a TCS valve.
Sucks getting old.
Thanks for clarifying.
