Default Motor Mounts

Do Big Blocks and Small Blocks use the same motor mounts?

Thanks

Jim

I know the 3 mount holes on either side of the block are in the same place relative to bell housing flange. So they CAN use the same mounts. The only 350-bbc swaps I have done-so far-involve mercruiser mounts...

The short answer is yes, they are the same and interchange

The longer answer is that starting in 1970 there are "safety" mounts for big blocks that are wider at the frame mount. Aftermarket manufacturers now use a common stamping for both and then use a washer (or user supplied washer) as a spacer to make up the width for the safety mount.

See this thread. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...or-mounts.html
