Edit - personally, I wouldn't use hose barbs and rubber hose for high pressure fuel line. Don't use rubber braided hose either, stick with teflon or something else similar.
Ok cool, what do people use for that FI rated hose then? I just assumed it was a barb fitting, is there something else that is used? I definitely want to make sure I have a leak-free fuel line setup, don't need any engine bay fires.

Braided hose, stainless or another braid like nylon.

You can buy an 82 fuel sender off eBay for around $100 and fit it with an EP241 intank pump. What i did on my TBI install and it worked great .Will support my upcoming TPI setup too. That way pump stays cool and no sound of it running. With an external pump, you may head it running.

Are you installing an EZ-EFI v 1.0 or 2.0?

I was an early adopter of the original EZ-EFI v 1.0; I have had 8yrs of trouble-free driving with it so far. I started a thread about this back in 2009, and there is a lot of good info in that thread:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-this-yet.html

I posted pics and more details of my install starting with post #260:

The fuel system I designed and built starting with post #274

Hopefully this info is of some use to you, and if I can answer any questions you may have, I will try my best.

Bruce
thanks for that link, I skimmed it but ill spend a little more time reading it later!

Question, if I'm replacing my stock (1/4") return line with a 3/8" line, what do I do about the connection at the tank (see pic)? Just keep it a 1/4" connection and then use an adapter to go to 3/8" the rest of the way ? Or does that not do anything for me since the smallest point is still 1/4"?
