ahh many thanks good info

so to get this straight in my head, i could have the w setup, which would mean my engine/trans pointing down by 3 degrees and then have the diff pointing down by 3 degrees and that would work?

Should work, I got 2.15 degrees on each angle. I did tweak my differential mount to accommodate.

Seems to me you should be able to get to a smaller angle than me as your motor is 10 mm lower without the backing plate. I don't remember all the details any more, but I ran out of clearance with the control arms and accessories where they were in my setup. Good luck.

Update - so to achieve the 2 degree engine/trans angle, needs alittle work, had to cut the trans tunnel open and space the T56 up by about 1 inch, need to make a proper alloy spacer, the nuts did the job tonight, the diff just needs a new bush to push it down alittle to get my W u joint orientation - so some good info there for LS/T56 swap
