Front Clip - Remove or Not?
Is there an issue with the front clip on this side....YES
It can be clearly seen the cropped photo below on how the bottom edge of the fender is not correct.
Can the door be raised to aid in closing the gap...YES. it than more likely can.
Is it the 'right' thing to do. That all depends if a persons wants to remove the front clip or not and wants to rework a pervious repair that seems to not be correct. It seems like they are open to it but for some people if they can find a solution to the problem and not invest hours of their time...they oftentimes will find the method that is not so labor intensive.
Do we need more photos of the back of the door...YES.
I wonder if when the front clip is picked up on if the bottom area where I have it circled actually begins to widen or not.

The red arrows are pointing to a concern of mine where that is why I am wondering of the front end can be picked up on if the panel will move or not,
It makes no sense WHY the yellow paint just stops and ends where the red arrow pointing up is showing....other than this area was not set back into its position correctly or there is more hidden issues we can not see in the photos provided.

I cant express my appreciation for all of your various help and comments. Here are three more pics (with a real camera) to help. The first is the rear pass door gap as it sits on the dolly. It looks good to me and there are no contact patches on the rear doorframe. Next is a closer image of the lower fender, lower rear contact point at rest on the dolly. The flange (?) is not secure to the lower rocker area. The last pic is of the same area when I have used a floor jack on the nose to raise the front. So much so, that the #2 body mount is off the dolly. I dont see much change in the vertical gap nor the lower flange. Am I correct in thinking this is a repair that was partway done and not aligned properly?
Thank you all for your continued guidance.
To me, in the last picture it looks like the lower rear of the front fender has come down some with you jacking up the front of the clip. Or maybe the higher position of the camera in the second picture just makes it look that way.
