Kick Panel Fresh Air Vents

Can anyone tell me whether the fresh air vent doors and seals are the same as the C2 and are they interchangeable with early model C3s?

Don't know the answer to your question, but you can find the exact seal material for about a dollar per 8"x10" sheet at Michael's Crafts store. They are called 'craft foam sheets.

My wife is a 'crafter'. When I decided to replace the seals in mine, I removed the door (pull up on the spring-loaded pin at the top) and took it in to show the wife. I then asked her, "Do you have any idea what this stuff is and where I might get some?"

Her reply was, "What color do you want?"

I selected black....

They are different sizes. And the kits I have bought also offer the correct rivets. Look for yourself and see if you cannot tell they are not the same. Because if they were...they would all be the same part number.
