Broken Dipstick Tube
New dipstick tube first then exhaust manifold
Or
Exhaust manifold then dipstick tube?
I'm assuming the manifold will slide into place with the tube already in place but using the now shorter, broken tube as a guide the manifold is getting hung up, and I definitely don't want to put the tube in then snap it off trying to wedge the manifold in there.
Just my opinion. Not worth much.
There were a couple times when I was getting the manifold lined up that it bumped the tube but no blood no foul.
The only foul was when I first tried to get the manifold lined up I had one bolt in that I couldn't get started and since I was so worried about breaking the new tube I decided to pull the manifold back out and get a better visual of where the bolt holes were. When I pulled the manifold out I forgot about the bolt and that bolt decided to slide out of the manifold directly above the fender.
No fender protector = New paint chip.
