Default Quadrajet Problem

1969 427 L36. Carb is a stock 7029215. I decided to take it apart to install a windowless needle and seat, a new float, accelerator pump and gaskets. I found that the right or passenger side secondary accelerating well tube is completely blocked. It could have been driven in too far as the obstruction is right at the bottom end of the tube when I insert a stiff piece of wire. Can I insert a small bit through the port or maybe back the tube out a little? It's tight and I don't want to ruin something by trying to yank on the tube. If so, drill size? The weird thing is it runs perfectly under all throttle conditions so not sure what to do here...
Edit: I also noticed the right side tube has been staked in 3 spots while the left hasn't.

Just run a piece of .020" safety wire (or other thin wire) through the tubes. No need to drill them.

Thanks Lars. I tried with safety wire from both the tube and through the port in the upper cast but it is solid right at the 90* spot and no residue on the wire tip. Solid block. If I blow or suck on the tube there is no flow at all to the point that it will actually hold vacuum. The other side is clear. As I said, it runs perfect but I know it shouldn't be blocked.

I measured both and they are even. I suspected the same thing and wondered if the tube had been bottomed out creating a seal. I tried gently to pull the tube up with a small pair of pliers and the tube wrapped in a thin piece of leather to prevent scoring but that was a no-go and am afraid to damage it. Kind of wondering if the passage was never drilled properly in the first place. It runs great but that isn't right. I should probably forget about it but my **** little mind won't let me...
