I did one of the first Keisler 6 speed conversions in my 1980. I had an automatic car that was originally a turbo 350 that I had already changed to a 700R4. The hardest part was hanging the new clutch/brake pedals. It's awkward getting up behind the dash. Next most time consuming was getting the bell housing dial indicated and centered. I think it's important to get that part right for proper shifting and longevity. This swap doubled the amount of fun I have in my car. It also made cruising much quieter and more comfortable.
