Fords pickup truck the bigger versions of it they said they dropped 700 lbs in weight using the aluminum body. My understanding both the camaro and mustangs extremely heavy at least 3800 lbs. So why has ford not done an aluminum mustang and took say 400 lbs of weight off it. They do sell 100s of thousands of ford pickups each year and nothing near that amount in mustangs. So only reason i can come up with not doing it for the cost for not that many sales. But you take that kind of weight off would be huge for accelleration, handling, braking.
