Best way is if you had one of the older heads with the bigger dia. Spark plug holes, is to stick your pinky finger in the hole bring it to top dead center and let the dome smash the tip of your pinky finger, then back it off a hair. 😁 not sure if this can really be done but it sounds good to me. If your pinky finger is a bit to big get your wife or small daughter to do this.

I have Edelbrock ally heads with the spark plug hole set lower to clear the headers. So the angle is a little hard to get anything in there easily. Got another endoscope coming today so I’ll get there and might be able to take a video and post it. 😀
