Curious why a "senior member " is asking what tools are needed to work on a Corvette?
I had enough posts to be a senior member before I got my '69 and its the only corvette I've owned. I still have a metric ton of questions, and as soon as we finalize on the new place and I have a workshop, I'll be asking them.

You need the same tools to disassemble and work on a C3 as you need for a C5. Except you need the tools in standard sizes, unless your Vette is a 1977+ C3, in which case you need the full C5 tool set in both metric & standard sizes: GM started the "soft-switch" to metric in 1977. Your can't work on a C3 with 7 box wrenches. That's ridiculous.
I’m assuming for those that want to know what i have or have had do not allow signatures to be seen.
I guess I'm assuming anyone haveing a hobby with a classic motor vehicle already understands the need for proper tools and what they may be,,
But here I go, assuming, and that usually gets me in great trouble,,,, teddy,,,
( and am also ignorant of what signatures means, )

Some people's hobby start at different times. I've been doing woodwork and stuff for quite a number of years and have a lot of tools for that. I only was in a position to get a corvette recently, so I'm still in the learning and tool collecting phase. The OP may have had nice cars previously, but is only now getting in to do the maintenance themselves.
I also use my S&K SAE and Metric wrenches (long), Gearwrench wrenches (short), S&K wrenches (Short).............but that Gearwrench set is used everyday, and is excellent if you try to use all ARP 12pt like I do.

I think you misunderstand. I have a plenty of tools and know how to use them. I have said according to what everyone has already posted that i have everything that i would need. I'm just curious as to what sizes these cars most commonly use. I can tell you my Z06 uses 7, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 24 and 33mm off the top of my head. I was just trying to find out what these cars used and what was most common.
