Default Engine pulley configuration

Happy New Year!

I am picking up a '70 Ragtop in a few weeks with no motor. the owner thinks he has a 350 block and that's all. i really need a running car due to space issues at home so i thought i would take my 327 and rebuild it for the vette for now. it will save time since he has nothing but the block and i have a complete 327 and a muncie that i rebuilt a while ago. Then i can take my time and build a nice 350 to put in later. I am trying to set the motor up as much as i can to an original 1970 configuration so i just have to swap those components later when i make the switch. ill use the 327 elsewhere then.

My question is how may grooves are on the pulleys used on the 1970 model engine? this has power steering and thats all. its been a while since i did type of work so i cant recall. i cant find a diagram with that info.

Also i need exhaust manifolds. I noticed they are rams horn style and have a bracket on the driver side on some and not others when i lookup parts. What were the brackets for? do i need one with brackets?

Thanks foe the help!
Steve

As far as the rams horn manifolds, the bracket made onto the driver side is for the alternator pivot bolt. On the later model C3 the alternator used an independent mount. It bolted to the end of the head with 3 bolts. You will need one or the other, but not both. I do not know what year the change was made but surely someone here does. My 69 original was with the bracket on the manifold.
