I paid $213 with tax and whatever else they might have added to the $199 price. I just checked, the link shows 17 left in stock at $199, order soon! Date 4-23-22 at 10:20 AM EST.
What is truly amazing is when you apply full battery voltage to the standard headlights versus going through the wiring system and dealing with all the voltage drops. Most headlights are not getting anywhere near full battery voltage when they are turned on. Try and jump full power to one low beam and leave the other on the standard power delivered to the low beam. The amount of light difference is mind boggling (~30% more light). This is why there are companies (like speed direct) that manufacturer new headlight wiring harness' allowing full battery voltage to get to your headlight bulbs. It is required for bulbs that draw more power like the XENON bulbs they sell as well.
I am aware that LED bulbs use less power than the XENON bulbs do but even a LED bulb would prefer to have full battery voltage at the bulb's power connection. If you are handy with electrical wiring it is not hard to put a relay in using the harness power to activate the relay and have full battery voltage get to the light bulb. I tried this using the original style bulbs and they were significantly brighter at 12-14.5 volts than they were with 11 volts getting through the factory harness.
Another simple way to get brighter brake and marker lights was to simply clean the contacts with DeOxIt. The DeOxIt will remove decades (55 years worth on my 1968) of corrosion and give your light the power it needs to make the brightest light possible. On some cars the cleaner connections make the back running lights look more like a brake light as they are that much better when they have a good clean connection. I buy the DeOxIt at Amazon but Graingers has it as well in small quantities to make it more affordable. With the DeOxIt you don't need to use sand paper or anything else, just simply put some on a Q-Tip and wipe off the corrosion.
I too would love to see the pattern generated by the bulbs mentioned in the original post but without any other lights anywhere around them. They look really nice!

Interesting. Seems a rather steep bill for 4 headlights... but if the end result is that good, its worth it. I do a LOT ov high speed night driving. In fact, i rather speed in the daytime.

I recently removed the marker lights from my 73 and was amazed at the amount of dust and dirt inside the housings.
Just cleaning out the inside of the housings would make a big difference in the brightness of the marker lights.
