1977 Headlights
Just wondering if the Headlight are supposed to come on even if the engine is not running? My doors work fine but Im trying to find out if I can test for power to the Headlights without the engine running? Thank you!

If your out of vacuum the headlights might not pop up but yes, the bulbs will light up.

you need 2 things. power to the headlights and ground path. i think the headlights are grounded to the mount bar bonded into the nose. if so, another ground has to run from that plate to the frame or engine.
