So I’m super happy with the electric kit! Did it in about 3 hours beginning to end. Now I have reason to fix my ds low beam lamp. I’ve had this car 15 years and have never had to replace any of them. To same time I’m asking for advice. The lamp actually works when I turn on high beams (all 4 bulbs light up). But only the ps low beam light turns on with regular lights turned on. Someone please enlighten me? Do I simply swap the bulb? But why does it work with the high beams?
When you look into the light's lens, can you see if its a single or double filament bulb?
If its a double filament bulb, just one filament may be burned through.

thanks. I’ll take a look when I get a chance. Is there an led option for these lights?

I purchased the plug and play LED headlights from Octane Lighting. https://www.octanelighting.com
They require no modifications and come in low and high beams for our Corvettes.
There has been a few threads regarding LED headlights, so I waited until someone advertised a set that were plug and play with no mods, then I jumped on a set.
They are in a box up on the shelf waiting to be installed.

I know that this thread is old but I used the info that I found here
to get my headlights operating. I kept the vacuum system and used the
AIM for the routing of the lines. Posts 12 and 43 saved me a ton of
work. Thanks Peterbuilt and Stingr69.
Perfect example of why these vacuum systems are just problematic......just saying. But....hey, if thats what you want to spend your time with, its all good. Me.....I prefer driving the car.
