if you put 3,000 miles a year on your corvette, then standard plugs will last you 10 years. Iridium plugs are not required and will not enhance the performance of your corvette.
I will echo what others have said…..NGK plugs are the way to go. I track my car in Time Trials, HPDE and street use. NGK’s are the only plug that lasted. AC Delco were OK and Champions were the worst.
As far as to which NGK plug, call NGK technical. They are great and very helpful.
It's funny 10 years ago you could hardly get anyone to recommend anything other than an AC delco plug. "Japanese pugs were for Japanese cars"
Times change. NGK has always been my go to plug as soon as I became aware of them. Champions were the worst.
my exposure and experience was a 66 cl77 honda scrambler…carried 12 plugs (would clean as i ised) for 2 cylinders champions in cylinder tool box…then realized oem ngk would foul 99% less..
