No power
Guys. I have a 69 coupe with no power from ignition to start engine. No accessories either. When I jump two wires inside the wiring harness (purple and black), I get it to crank. I can't figure this out and it's frustrating. Checked all fuses and continuity. Power to engine side at horn relay. Jumped it to distributor.
Is my vette stock?? HAHA

I had my fuse block rot out on the fire wall side so I couldnt see it. Check continuity on all the wires. Check your connection at the ignition switch and then check your switch is adjusted correctly on the column. THey can loosen up and the rod will push the switch assembly away so it doesnt actually make any connections. If you are going to spend some time under her you may want to pull the drivers seat
