You can remove the clock, Get some alcohol or brake clean start cleaning the contacts and gears. clean the winding mechanism. Use clock oil to lube it,,,, just a tiny bit. They are normally just dirty.
Take the clock out and send it to " The Clock Works" for repair.
I had mine out a couple of times, got it to work on the bench, but not so once reinstalled, finally sent it out, still working great a year later.
I did mine in the fall once the car was away for the winter, so I only had to take the dash apart once.
