What kind did you get? Any issues?

Viking. I also pulled a few leaves in the back until I can install the rear trailing arms/coils. Haven't driven it much but it looks killer. May need to raise it a tad but driving around town on less than perfect roads no problems, just keep in mind it is a low sports car not a truck.

Regarding the shocks I have single adjustable QA1 shocks all around on both my 65 and 66 cars. Both have a sport alignment. The 66 has Avon 205 x 15” tires and the 65 has Toyo V speed rated 17” tires. As stated previously with this combination these cars will now pull 1 g lateral force that the average driver will not be able to drive to these limits. This was accomplished for far less money than you guys will spend with the mods you are speaking of.
Regarding looks and tire sizes here are pictures of both my cars as I speak of.

Love the video of the HD's, LOL, who does that? I just finished a new 9 leaf and Bilstein HD's install, and am very happy with the ride. Stock 9 leaf was worn out, and not loving the composite options. I was not looking for race handling, just solid factory performance. None of the problems I had before are still there, and the rear feels a lot stiffer but expected that with the upgraded shocks. I am glad I did not go with the sports, that would have been too much for a stock rebuild in my opinion.

Just a precision. I still have the original leaf spring.
I will always stay on the street, no circuit.

I bought QA1 single adjustable drag shocks. I siding had to trim the lower control arm with a 3/8" slot so the **** should go in. Just started reassembling one side this week.

I had to use different lower bolts than the ones it came with. Wrong threads.
