Default Dewitt radiator install

Good Evening, Folks hope all is well.

Installing a dewitt radiator with spal fans in my 1973 corvette auto. The radiator is sitting nicely in the core, the core is bolted down with 2 bolts at the bottom of he core, and the right and left clips on top of the core are installed

Other than hooking up the radiator hoses and radiator transmission lines, is there any other support for the radiator core?

Thanks, Reggie

So other then the bolts and the linement that it sits on you should be good it sits sturdy so make sure there’s no wobble once it’s bolted and tightened if so you’re good to go!!

I'm assuming you have installed the side bolts, two (upper & lower) on each side of the core support.

There is a rod support that runs from the bottom center of the support to the front of the car,one support about 12 inches long. I put a Dewitt's in my 75 and the lower trans cooler line was really close to the frame so I shaved off about 1/4 inch of material on the frame.

I have a picture of that support. Of course you have new rubber vibration and shock insulators in the top and bottom supports, right?

Thanks fir reminding me,those rubber isolators were a total pain in the *** to get everything together, ended up cutting a lot of the rubber away.
