Thanks all for the input! Very interesting on what others are using.
Special thanks to Leigh for spending time on the phone with me. We had a great corvette talk and I got a suspension education as well.
My plan is to follow Leigh's advise. If I'm off on the spring rates, though I doubt it, I can always change the springs as others have mentioned.
Yes I already have a 1 1/8 C3 factory front sway bar and 9/16 rear bar, VBP adjustable strut rod bracket and heim joint strut rods. I am considering the VS Delrin cross-member mount bushings to raise the diff a little for better half shaft angles. Not sure on that yet.
Glad to help Jeff. I have the VS delrin crossmember bushings. They are supposed to lower the rear of the car, roughly 3/8", without any effect on the half shaft angles. You may want to check what angle you have in there now, when the stance looks right to you. IIRC the diff side of the h/s is supposed to be about 1/2" higher than the outside. Then they go pretty flat when you gas it, or at least not too far the other way. The rear can easily sag 1.25" on the gas.

I think you have that mixed up. The bushings raise the diff approximately 3/8 inch which allows you to lower the car with the spring bolts the same amount to maintain your current half shaft angle.
