I’m wondering what kind of carburetor this is and where the fuel filter is. It’s a 76 corvette that is bought recently and the previous owner didn’t know anything about it.

It's an old Barry Grant Road Demon Jr. 525 intended to be equivalent to the Holley 4160 single inlet carbs. It does not have a real "filter", but may still have the Demon-installed inlet screen just inside the fuel line banjo fitting. This screen is not a very effective filter, so you would be well advised to install an in-line filter prior to the carb. The carb itself is small, but not a bad carb: It has annular boosters, which are very good, and externally adjustable floats, which are much better than its Holley counterpart carbs.
