Recently have been trying to figure out what problems I’ve had with my windshield wiper motor. It was working fine and ran it for about 10 minutes and shortly after I shut my hood it stopped. I then played with the switch for a while and nothing happened but noticed that my relay was starting to click at a rapid rate every time I barely touched the switch instead of the single click on any other relay I have. No matter how much the relay clicks I get no reaction with the motor and I check the main power to the motor and am still getting a steady 12v. Does anybody know if they have had a problem like this with the relay rapid fire sound or ways to diagnose a windshield wiper motor?
I'm sorry, but you would have to know that many, many things changed between 1968 and 1982.
Just a bit more information is needed to help you.
As an example. I have a 1977 model. There is no relay for the wipers.
