Hello,
The rubber bushings at the ends of the rear spring are under a lot of pressure.
Replacing them would be a good idea.
Be careful!!!
Regards,
I'd recommend replace both the bushing at the spring and the one at the trailing arm.
Thank you for the warning! Thankfully they are out. My intention is to replace all four! What would you replace them with? What site would you purchase them from. I have not had luck with Chinese parts.
If your springs are OEM then it would be a good idea to have them restored (if want to keep everything original to your car). I had a Corvette Shop remove the springs and they took them to a Truck Spring Shop to be restored, I bought a set of the rubber pieces that go between the leaves of the springs.

My car is far from OEM. I have had the stock springs, the Daytona springs and now F-41. Through it all, I had the original rubber. With the diff and arms out for repair, I had an opportunity to see the rubber and it is in need of replacement.
