I was visiting and got to follow the semi-final touch ups yesterday, and I have to say how impressed I'm with the car. As you might imagine, it looks even better in person than from the pics. The 20" rims really look :cool: And if it's been a bit long getting the car to the road lately it's just because there has been no shortage of visitors showing up to admire the car and distract Jay from his work :jester

My ears are still ringing from when Jay started up the engine inside the garage :eek: He must have very understanding neighbors :D

79VetteMike: I used to have Pace Car style spoiler on my 79 and I was going to put it back on, but now that I have seen the clean bodylines, there's no way I would put it back on. But like they say it's all matter of taste :cheers:

That is looking fabulous, Jay. You have done some really amazing things to your car. I am (as always) very impressed with your work. You know, you should get some good photos and write up all the info of what you've done and submit it to one of the Corvette magazines. A lot of people would enjoy seeing that awesome machine.

It will be very detailed in every way. WTF?!?!? where have i been? Jay, please email me whenever you make progress on this thing. the car looks amazing, and it was worth the effort. the 20s look perfect too. not good, but perfect. i just wish you lived in the US so i could almost afford to come see it. :smash:

 

That is one of the sweetest Vettes I have seen. Those rims look very nice. Not a big fan of non-stock interior but yours is done tastefully. Good job. Must be hard looking at it without driving....
