I got my 1st one when I was 19... 30+ years ago for $750. It was a 63 Roadster with 25k miles on it. I'm the second owner.

Still have it, but now it has a few more miles on it, 29k and is worth a little bit more these days.

I bought my first one, a '57, two weeks after I turned 15 in 1970. Hooked me for life, as I've owned 15 different ones over the last 33 years. I say go for it, you'll never regret it.

I bought mine when I was 34 after 2 years of looking around and waiting for the wifey to finish school. I went through many F-bodies before I went Vette.

I say buy now as C3 prices are probably only going to go up. The other menbers advice an keeping a daily driver / beater is right on. Dont ever store it outdoors or over bare earth as this will rust out the cars frame, etc in no time.

Watch it though as it can possess your thought day and night.
